With WoWo (Wonderful Woman), Vanessa Jay Mulder opens a new musical chapter after seven years away from releasing music. The single weaves R&B, neo-soul and hip-hop into a celebration of female strength.
The song grew from an imagined dialogue with Maya Angelou's Phenomenal Woman. At its heart is a woman who moves through hardship, protects her voice and still finds the strength to rise again.
Production is by Raffaele “Rabbo” Scogna, while the live project gives the song a more organic and immediate dimension.
